What do others say about the program?

Resilient Leadership has completely transformed my approach to coaching. One of the most powerful tools I've gained is the simple yet profound question, 'What is my part in this?' This question has been a game-changer, helping me to:

  • Deepen Self-Awareness: Uncover the root causes of my emotional reactions and strike a balance between my rational and emotional selves.
  • Reduce Anxiety: Recognize patterns of Over- or Under-Functioning and navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with greater ease.
  • Enhance Empathy: Discern when compassion or challenge is truly needed, fostering healthier and more productive relationships.

Ultimately, this question has empowered me to not only understand myself better but also to make a more positive impact on those around me. I’m incredibly grateful for this valuable insight.

Resilient Leadership Trainer

For me, one of the best elements of the Resilient Leadership Coach Certification was connecting with others who also want to be better leaders.  As we shared experiences, I realized the insecurities and challenges I was facing were shared by many others.  Through this program, I realized that being a good leader is less about having all the answers and more about being present, being curious, and realizing it's not my job to fix other people.  I first have to lead myself- and then others. The principles in the Resilient Leadership Coach Certification helped me do that.

Marge Shonnard
RL Coach and Trainer

Over the past 25 years, Marge has served several organizations in a variety of executive leadership roles. Throughout her work experiences, she has become increasingly aware of the impact that leaders have on the systems they serve.

During her leadership tenure, she had the privilege of working with two seasoned executive coaches who have had a deep impact on her effectiveness as a leader and coach. The key insight she gained from working with these coaches is that recognizing and understanding the emotional dynamics within the complex systems in which we live and work is the key to being a Resilient Leader.

At this point in her career, Marge is well equipped to combine her career experiences, executive coaching and training to offer people at all levels of the organization the opportunity to deepen their understanding of themselves by discovering their strengths and experiential wisdom, and thus to bring their “best self” to every situation.
